Our tips for Puerto Vallarta

  • Drink bottled water: Although the hotels in Puerto Vallarta will have a purification system, drink bottled water to be on the safe side. And because it gets hot, make sure to stay hydrated.
  • Tipping point: You'll be expected to tip when you head out to the restaurants. It's usually 10 to 15%. So, remember to keep your change handy.
