Overview

Who said you need a royal invite to experience the grandeur of Amsterdam’s royal heritage? This fast track access gains you entry into the Royal Palace Amsterdam, one of three palaces in the country used by the Dutch Royal House, along with a fantastic audio guide to help you experience this majestic residence in all its glory.

The Palace is still in use by the Dutch Royal House to host  state visits, award ceremonies, New Year’s receptions and other royal events. Originally built as the town hall, the significance of this 17th century monolith is quite evident from the architecture and opulent marble interior, having been one of the hottest spots in the city for 350 years. The building was finally turned into a royal palace in 1808 by Louis Napoleon (brother of le petit caporal) when he became the King of Holland.

Wander along the stately place, admiring the murals, chandeliers, arched ceilings, fine art and sculptures, and gorgeous Napoleonic furniture. You can also discover magnificent paintings by the likes of Rembrandt’s pupils, Ferdinand Bol and Govert Flinck. We promise your trip to Amsterdam will not be complete unless you visit this attraction.
