The opening hours of the Egyptian Museum are:
Monday to Saturday: 10:30am to 7pm
Sunday: 10:30pm to 2pm

Over 2000-metre squares of gallery space exhibits nearly a thousand artefacts including mummies, sarcophagi, jewellery and amulets. The museum has galleries exclusively devoted to various gods and Pharaohs showcasing the everyday artefacts, cosmetics and work related to them.
The Egyptian Museum also organises entertaining and fun activities relating to the history of Egypt. This museum of Egyptology conducts temporary exhibitions from time to time portraying their most recent acquisitions of old photographs from the document collection, displays of research and much more on the study of the culture and history of Ancient Egypt.
Witness realistic enactments at the museum during the evening, which will take you back 4000 years, unravelling the mysteries of the River Nile. You’ll be begging to try the delectable Eternal Banquet, a unique tour where you sample the food once eaten by the kings, priests, peasants and slaves of this ancient civilisation.
A wide range of courses, seminars, lectures and conferences delivered by historic experts are held in the museum to provide information on the civilizations of the past. The library, with more than 10,000 documents, is the perfect place to find any information on Ancient Egyptian culture or Egyptology. Visit the bookshop which stocks a wide range of books and the souvenir shop to take home a nugget of Ancient Egypt!

The museum is fully accessible for visitors with reduced mobility. There is an elevator for accessing the various floors of the Museum, as well as a visitors’ guide and a number of touch-sensitive additions that allow the Museum to offer a valid educational product for the visually impaired.
I never realised that Barcelona had their own Egyptian Museum! There were 3 floors of exceptional artifacts, mummies, statues & jewellery. I was very impressed with their exhibition!!
