Trace the history of the Hungarian Jewish community with a visit to Hungarian Jewish Museum and Dohany Synagogue Complex. With this combo ticket, you will dodge the long queues and get fast-track access to both the buildings.
Learn about the state of Jews in Hungary during the World Wars and the Holocaust. The Dohany Street Synagogue is one of the world's largest synagogues and it was here that the collection of priceless artefacts were hidden during the Holocaust. The Hungarian Jewish Museum houses these beautiful artworks, artefacts, and memorabilia commemorating the Jewish community throughout the years.
You may choose to take a guided tour of the Synagogue, the Heroes' Temple, the Raoul Wallenberg Memorial Park, and the graveyard and learn more about the Jewish community and their struggles.
The permanent exhibition highlights the importance of Jewish festivals and the Jewish life cycle.
