The Gallery conducts state-of-the-art exhibitions of the most delicate works of art from the Royal Collection displayed in Scotland for the first time.

The Queen’s Gallery was opened by Queen Elizabeth II on 29 November 2002, as part of the Golden Jubilee celebrations. It is located at the Palace of Holyroodhouse, Canongate at the southern end of The Royal Mile, Scotland's most popular street.

Artworks from the Royal Collection on display includes memorabilia and photographs from Britain’s Royal Family as well as many travelling exhibitions of Leonardo da Vinci to Holbein and several other great masters. To make the most of your visit, pick up a free audio tour, available in English, at the entrance to the exhibition.
