Overview

Admire some of the most amazing scenery of the Polish Highlands on this tour as you cruise along at a leisurely pace on the Dunajec River. Highly experienced guides ensure that you have a smooth ride and keep you informed about the sights you see and the history of the trips which go back to 1840s.
The voyage down the winding Dunajec offers breathtaking views of mighty limestone cliffs plunging into the water as well as stunning native vegetation both protected by the second oldest international national park in the world where you can spot some rare bird species including the Black Stork.

Itinerary

On this tour, you will be picked up from Krakow’s city centre hotel. Proceed towards the Dunajec River in a coach as your English speaking guide tells you more about the region. The tour highlights are:

• Dunajec River: You will board a traditional wooden watercraft, operated by a river guide in customary regional dress. This stunningly scenic water route will gently take you 15 kilometers downstream, underneath legendary mountain peaks and alongside thick woodlands and winding nature paths. You may even spot some curious local wildlife along the way!

• A bit of free time: After the exhilarating ride, there is a break for lunch in the pretty little resort town of Szczawnica.

You will be dropped back to your hotel in Krakow.
