Arashiyama Half-Day Tour: Sagano Romantic Train, Hozugawa River Cruise & Horse Carriage Ride

Please reach meeting point 10 minutes prior to the departure time to avoid any last minute rush.

Infants under the age of 3 can join for free when not occupying a seat. If there will be infants participating, please note it in the Requests & Remarks section when booking.

Sagano Romantic Train Tickets are limited and available one month in advance. If unavailable, you'll use the JR tram instead.

Horse Carriage: If unavailable, a shuttle bus will be provided, and you'll be refunded the difference.

River Cruise: May be canceled due to weather; partial refund only. Take medication if you get seasick. Until July 11, the Hozugawa cruise operations is stopped & tour is replaced by an Arashiyama rickshawtour (30-minute bamboo forest tour). Arashiyama rickshaws cannot be reserved, and there may be queues depending on on-site availability

Please keep in mind that this tour is primarily in Japanese and/or Chinese. The tour guide may give a brief introduction in English and will do their best to address the queries and concerns of English-speaking guests.

Minimum of 6 people are required to book tour. If total number of travelers do not match the minimum requirement for this trip, the tour will be cancelled.

On 7/8, 7/27, and 9/30 Due to the departure of the Arashiyama train, the meeting time has been changed to 10:50 am and departure at 10:55 am. All trips will be postponed for one hour. The Arashiyama train has a fixed schedule and departs on time. Please be punctual.
