Overview

Visit the Asterix Park, just outside Paris and have a ball of a time with your entire family!

Inspired by the famous French comic book series called the Adventures of Asterix by René Goscinny and Albert Uderzo, there are 32 attractions and merry-go rounds as well as seasonal and year-round shows, which all combine to make for an unforgettable day with your favourite characters.

Merry go rounds and roller coasters are aplenty to keep you entertained for the day. There are six themed worlds of Parc Astérix - Ancient Egypt, the Roman Empire, Gaul, the Vikings, Ancient Greece and Travel Through Time.

One of the major rides includes Europe’s largest wooden roller coasters called Tonnerre de Zeus that lifts you up to the peak of Mount Olympus, to a height of 30 meters and propels you at a speed of 80 kmph along a giddy 1.2 kilometre course for 90 seconds!

There is also a reproduction of the little indomitable Gaulish village based on the comic series, which has been approved by Asterix co-creator Albert Uderzo himself!
