Overview

Visit one of Rome’s most ancient buildings and culturally significant landmarks on a guided tour of the Pantheon. Admire the oculus, also known as the 'Eye of the Pantheon, Rafaelo's tomb, as well as the Inquisition - where, infamously, Galileo was put on trial. A fascinating fact - On the midday of every 21 April (the founding date of Rome), the sunlight strikes the metal grille above the door, flooding the entry with light. This would have illuminated the emperor in ancient times.

You will also be visiting Raphael's tomb, one of the greatest painters of the Renaissance.

Enjoy lively commentary on the history of the attraction with tons of interesting anecdotes.3

Be sure that you are wearing comfortable shoes.
